Introduction
Beginning in September 2005, St. Barnabas Christian Education Committee has commissioned a 2-year cycle of instruction for confirmation candidates. Typically, students will take this course over their 7th and 8th grade or 8th and 9th grade years. One year, students will discuss the history of the church, the liturgies of the church, and the Book of Common Prayer of the Episcopal Church. The other year, students will focus on specific biblical topics. Throughout both years, students will also discuss the relevance of Jesus' teachings for our lives in the 21st century.
